Rami passed away on April 4, 2021, lovingly surrounded by his family.

Nearly 20 years later, I finally got to virtually meet the artist who developed the original characters from Rami’s idea of interactive magnets inspired by Balinese shadow puppets.

Edna Betzalel, a dancer with a teaching studio in Nahariya, Israel, uses Shadow Magnets to inspire form and movement during her dance classes.

We’re finding all sorts of goodies and deals that we plan to share over the coming weeks and months. Product prototypes. One-of-a-kind pieces. Factory seconds. It’s the first time we have ever done this, so join us for the ride. It will be wild.

It was a sunny afternoon. We had time to kill and nowhere to go (a common occurrence during #quarantinelife.) On a whim, I grabbed a magnet board and Dancer before calling the littles outside. “

We’re well into our second month of sheltering-in-place here in the Bay area, and like most people, we’re constantly looking for things to do to pass time. This one takes no prep and provides easy entertainment for all ages.
